Could you extend the CI to check the build on new platform? (E.g. use Solaris-vm)?
That way the requirement you've described in a comment could be explicitly described in the CI script

Looks like ew've hit the limit of cuncurent matrix runs for OpenSource project on Github. Probably we'd need to merge some of the builds into a single one (e.g. make cross-platform build and run openbsd/omnios/netbsd/android buils int a row). |
